- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Took my child there with obvious signs of pink eye. He is a military dependant so he has Tricare. I don't have a card but I have all the information including the sponsors social. They wouldn't see him cause I didn't have a card. They are so worried about money that they don't pay attention to the actual patient. This is why people take non emergent issues to the ER...places like this that see dollar signs and not the welfare of our patients.December 23, 2016by TanyaDanial Marshall
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪We are cash patients (actually belong to a Christian share program), MedExpress is the cheapest place we've found so far for after-hour care. For a strep swab/test its $119. They stock the basic antibiotics and a 10 day supply of amoxicillin cost us $15. The place is clean, large waiting room, and usually they get you through in an hour on the non-peak days. The only downside is they close at 8pm, along with most other urgent care centers. Unfortunately we made the mistake of going to the new pediatric one instead of waiting til 8am, $360 later we still had to drive to Walgreens.
